Micro Switches Used In Water Dispenser

Micro Switches Used In Water Dispenser

Usually, 89% of water dispenser manufacturers choose waterproof micro switches due to their dust and waterproof design(IP67). The water dispenser is intended to be used in households and similar applications such as staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments, farmhouses, clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments, and bed and breakfast type environments, catering, and similar non-retail applications.

The most popular water cooler is the bottle-fed water dispenser. This machine gets its water supply from an inverted bottle of water placed on top of the water cooler. When the bottle of water is inverted and placed into the opening on the top of the water cooler, the seal of the water bottle is severed or punctured by a part referred to as the ‘spike,’ allowing the water to flow into the water cooler.

Self-cleaning Water Coolers -Ease Of Use

Water coolers need occasional cleaning to prevent the buildup of mineral deposits and germs from thriving. Proper cleaning maintains the quality and taste of the water. Though it takes a little time, elbow grease, and some vinegar or bleach to clean most coolers, not everyone will want the bother. In that case, self-cleaning water coolers may be a worthy investment.

Water Cooler Working Principle

Inside the water cooler is a valve that prevents the water from the bottle from flooding the water cooler. The water inside the water cooler is fed into a reservoir, which is cooled using a refrigerant. A refrigerant is a cooling medium circulated in pipes close to the water cooler’s reservoir. The refrigerant changes from a liquid to a gas as it moves in the pipes towards the reservoir because of the pressure created by a compressor inside the water cooler. The cooled gas in the water pipe is forced through a valve to make it even colder.

When the refrigerant is in a gas form and is circulating in the pipes, it can absorb the heat away from the mineral water in the reservoir, leaving cool and refreshing water readily available. The heat in the refrigerant is then expelled from the water cooler.

As people open the snap action switch push button and dispense water, the machine will refill the reservoir, and the process begins again. Should the water reservoir empty during dispensing, it will take a few minutes before the water cooler chills it to a low temperature.

The Mechanism Of Making Cold Water

The machine needs a block like a refrigerator to create cold water, but this block is much smaller. The device is also designed with thermal relays to control the water temperature. In addition, the machine also has a second thermal relay so that when the water temperature drops too low, it will automatically disconnect the power so that it does not happen the freezing water causes the bottle to break.

When Buying A Device, You Need To Keep It In Mind.

  • Choose a machine with water purification technology suitable for domestic water sources of the family
  • Select the capacity and appropriate storage capacity
  • It is recommended to choose a machine with features that protect against freezing to provide safety for users

When Using The Device, Note:

  • Install the machine in a cool place, avoid high heat source
  • Place the machine at least 10-15cm from the wall
  • Cleaning, check the machine regularly
  • For models with storage compartments, you should not store food in them
  • Use a separate plug that is not used with other electrical equipment

Fix A Broken Water Dispenser Switch

Step 1: Buy a replacement mini micro switch and remove the trim panel. Remove the trim panel. Locate the detents in the trim panel.

Step 2: Replace the broken switch. Remove the micro switch. If your refrigerator water dispenser is not working, pull the snap retainers away from the switch and slide them off the pegs.

Not Working Reasons List

1.IS THE WATER LINE CONNECTED TO A WATER SUPPLY AND TURNED ON?

Ensure the water supply is correctly connected to a cold supply and the shutoff valve is fully opened. Check to make sure there are no kinks in the water supply line. A kink in the line can reduce water flow. Straighten the water source line to restore adequate water flow and pressure. To help reduce the chances of a pinched water line, do not push the refrigerator too far back against the wall or cabinet.

2.DO YOU HAVE THE CORRECT WATER PRESSURE?

Hollow or thin ice cubes and slow or no water dispensing are likely due to low water pressure. Connecting a refrigerator to a reverse-osmosis system could also lower the refrigerator’s water pressure, resulting in thin ice cubes, low ice production, or decreased amount of water being dispensed.

 3. IS THERE A KINK IN THE WATER SUPPLY LINE?

A kink in the water source line can reduce water flow. Straighten the water source line to restore adequate water flow and pressure. To help reduce the chances of a pinched water line, do not push the refrigerator too far back against the wall or cabinet.

4.DOES YOUR WATER FILTER NEED TO BE REPLACED?

The water filter must be replaced every six months when the indicator light comes on or as needed. A clogged water filter can cause several issues, including reducing the amount of dispensed water. Replacing your water filter will also help reduce the number of containments in the water supply.

5. WAS THE WATER SYSTEM FLUSHED AFTER FILTER INSTALLATION OR REPLACEMENT?

Flushing the system is needed every time the filter is changed or once the refrigerator is installed on the water supply line for the first time. The air in the water system may cause dripping at the dispenser, which is considered a leak, or for the water to dispense slowly.

6.IS THE WATER FILTER INSTALLED CORRECTLY?

If the water filter is incorrectly installed, it can reduce the water flow to the water dispenser, which could cause it to function correctly.

7.IS THE CONTROL LOCK ACTIVATED?

People can turn off the water dispenser for easy cleaning or unintentional dispensing by small children and pets. It simply deactivates the dispenser controls and pad.

8.IS THE DISPENSER PADDLE OR PAD FULLY ENGAGED?

If the dispenser paddle or pad is not fully engaged, the dispenser will not dispense ice or water. Ensure the glass engages the paddle or switch by firmly pressing the pad or paddle.
