Development Of Push Button Micro Switches

There Are Two Main Application Areas For Micro Switches:

First, they can be used when a low operating force is required and the action is explicit.

Second, use them when long-term reliability is required. The internal mechanism and the closing force on the switch contacts have nothing to do with the operating force. The switch’s reliability is primarily a matter of contact force: reliable, sufficient, but never excessive force will extend the service life.

Typical applications for micro switches include door interlocks on microwave ovens, level and safety switches in elevators, vending machines, arcade buttons, and detecting paper jams or other malfunctions in photocopiers. Microswitches are usually used in anti-dismantling switches for gate valves of fire sprinkler systems and other water pipe systems. In this case, it is necessary to know whether the valve has been opened or closed.

Microswitches Wide Using

Microswitches are widely used. Their applications include electrical appliances, machinery, industrial control, vehicles, convertible roofs, and many other places for control circuits. Although some switches can be used directly to control small motors, solenoids, lights, or other devices, they can usually only carry current in the control circuit.

The low-pressure version can sense coins in vending machines or fan blades. The micro switch can be directly operated by a mechanism or as part of the pressure, flow, or temperature switch package, operated by a sensing mechanism such as a Bourdon tube. In these latter applications, the repeatability of the actuator position when switching is performed is critical to long-term accuracy.

Micro Compact Switch Types

The types of micro switches can be divided into traditional micro switches, silent micro switches, and micro-optical switches, in addition to the well-known brands of HONEYWELL, OMRON, Panasonic, CHERRY cherry, Korean IC, Taiwan ZIPPY, and so on. Mute micro-switches mostly use square origin micro-switches, mainly used for office use. The button feels duller, but there is no traditional micro-action “click” sound. This type of micro-switch is more suitable for offices, libraries, and other places that need to be quiet.

Traditional micro-motion uses a metal reed trigger structure. When the button is pressed, the metal reed in the micro switch triggers once sends an electrical signal to the computer, and then resets to achieve the trigger effect. However, after long-term use, there are physical wear and oxidation problems, which may cause poor contact or contact position offset, which may cause problems such as the inability to trigger or double-click.

Currently, manufacturers use different methods to increase the wear resistance of springs to extend their service life or use alloy materials to enhance the electrical performance of contact parts.

Huizhou Unionwell Sensing & Control Electronics Co., Ltd

Huizhou Unionwell Sensing & Control Electronics Co., Ltd has developed two micro switches, the G309 series. The switch body is small and exquisite. The structure is compact, adopts the contact type structure, the contact is reliable, and the operating temperature range is minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius. It is used for car door locks and car light controllers.
